At the FuturLab 2015 I attended the learning circle Economics, which was coordinated by Moritz Linder. These sessions were about how to get more pluralism in the monotone and mainstream sciences of economics, so that students and professors get another view on how to teach and research on certain issues and matters and start thinking out of the box.
Even though, everybody was a little bit tired from the demanding first day, the program of day 2 of the FutureLab was as promising as the day before. Weiterlesen
After two amazing days there came an even more amazing third one. Morning tiredness vanished quickly after seeing the first sun rays promising a great sunny day. We had breakfast in the hostel and then headed to the super modern futuristic magnificent campus of WU. Weiterlesen
It was a very productive Friday at the oikos CEE meeting in Vienna which began with a wonderful healthy breakfast at the hostel – not to forget the sweet bread and coffee which I particularly enjoyed. After the breakfast we headed to the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU – Vienna University of Economics & Business) where we were inspired by the brilliant lecture on “waste management” given by Mr. Benjamin Steuer (Circular Economy Researcher, WU).
The second day of the meeting. It was a crispy morning but the weather forecast promised 33 degrees in the afternoon – pretty unusual even for the early autumn Vienna weather. We got to the area of WU – the Wien University of economics and business -to get introduced with the famous but still pretty unknown substance that made life possible on the earth. Weiterlesen
